The end of the year 2012

The year 2012 is...? I'm sure everyone has had a great year for their own life. My life.. well, although it has been quite busy year for study as usual, there has been tons of opportunities for new things and suppose I've done great job.

I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Thank you all for everything you've done and helped for me this year. Looking forward to seeing you all again in the coming year.

It has been a huge year for youtube particularly about derivative work made by popular culture materials? Guess 2013 would be... the year that popularised art works will be more spread out through social networkings.

2012: Year in Review

2012年も様々なことがあった年で、London 2012とDiamond Jubileeに関することは別でアップするとして、その他に気になったことを今年も年の瀬になったことだし写真と共にアップしてこうかなと。思い返してみれば、Occupy運動や大統領選、総選挙などの政治的な活動から、Kony2012のような運動、ハリケーン・サンディとかの自然災害、アートでは草間弥生のTATE個展、そして火星着陸や金環日食、Manchester Cityの劇的なプレミア制覇、などなど色々あったなーと改めて感じる。

去年は震災の影響が強すぎて、年の印象が全て震災と関連になってしまったけど、そういった意味で今年は政治も社会もポスト資本主義に進んでいくため、デジタル時代に進んでいくため、そういうものの予兆みたいなのを感じることが多かった年だった。

If you disagree with this completely RIDICULOUS american policy against the internet, take action. Even you are not american, this issue is coming over to your country soon. Mark Zuckerberg also wrote on his Facebook wall today that; The internet is the most powerful tool we have for creating a more open and connected world. We can't let poorly thought out laws get in the way of the internet's development. Facebook opposes SOPA and PIPA, and we will continue to oppose any laws that will hurt the internet. The world today needs political leaders who are pro-internet. We have been working with many of these folks for months on better alternatives to these current proposals. I encourage you to learn more about these issues and tell your congressmen that you want them to be pro-internet.
